Home Care Aid

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aid to provide exceptional assistance and support to clients in Romeo, MI. The ideal candidate will help maintain the independence and quality of life for individuals in their own homes by delivering personalized care tailored to their unique needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation


• Provide medication reminders and monitor clients' health and well-being


• Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment


• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients


• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals about care plans and any changes in condition


• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related healthcare field is an asset, but NOT required


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills


• Ability to perform physical tasks and assist clients safely


• Reliable transportation to and from assigned locations in Romeo, MI


• Current certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus
