Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services to bed-bound clients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Utilize Hoyer lifts for safe transfer of clients to and from beds, chairs, and other locations.
• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Prepare and assist with meals, ensuring dietary needs are met while encouraging proper nutrition.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor clients for any changes in condition.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties.
• Document client progress and report any concerns to the nursing staff or management.

• Must have proven experience as a Home Care Aid or similar role, especially working with bed-bound clients.
• Hoyer lift certification or substantial experience using Hoyer lifts is mandatory.
• Compassionate and patient attitude with a strong desire to help others.
• Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and transferring clients.
• Excellent communication skills to properly interact with clients and their families.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and caring for chronically ill individuals.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
