Home Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide to provide in-home support and assistance to clients in Lake Orion, MI. The ideal candidate will help enhance the quality of life for individuals by offering personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily activities in a respectful and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.


• Help with mobility and transfer assistance as needed.


• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when required.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities to support emotional well-being.


• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to supervisory staff.


• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.


• Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with clients and families.

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and reliably with minimal supervision.


• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards clients.


• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Lake Orion, MI.
