Home Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aides to provide quality in-home care services to clients in St. Clair Shores, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to promote their independence and enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Support clients with mobility and transfers safely.


• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and organizing.


• Provide medication reminders and monitor client health status.


• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to supervisors.

Requirements

• Ability to pass background checks.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Reliable transportation to and from client homes.


• Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented.


• Ability to follow care plans and work independently.
