Home Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aids to provide support and assistance to individuals in need in Temperance, MI. This role involves helping clients with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely.


• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Report changes in client conditions to supervisors promptly.


• Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or a related field is a plus.


• Ability to pass background checks.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Reliable, compassionate, and patient demeanor.


• Ability to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends.
