Home Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Aides. In this role, you will provide essential in-home assistance to clients, helping them with daily living activities to promote their independence and well-being. This position is based in Marysville, MI, offering a supportive work environment and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Help clients with mobility and transferring safely within their homes.


• Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, meal preparation, and cleaning.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or supervisors.


• Maintain accurate records of the care provided and client’s condition.


• Follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure client safety.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or healthcare is a plus but not required.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• Ability to work independently and follow instructions carefully.


• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Marysville, MI.


• Background check clearance.


• Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
