Home Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and reliable Home Care Aides to provide exceptional in-home care services to our clients in Pontiac, MI. As a Home Care Aide, you will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in a supportive and respectful environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Provide mobility assistance and help with transferring clients safely.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.


• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements.


• Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors or healthcare professionals.


• Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation and improve quality of life.


• Follow care plans and respect client confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or a related field is a plus.


• Compassionate, patient, and dependable with strong interpersonal skills.


• Ability to pass background checks.


• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Pontiac, MI.


• Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings or weekends as needed.
