Home Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide to provide exceptional support and care to clients in Casco, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and promote independence in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.


• Assist with medication reminders and health monitoring as directed.


• Support clients with mobility and transfer needs safely and respectfully.


• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as necessary.


• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and errands to maintain a safe and healthy environment.


• Document care provided and report any changes in client’s condition to supervisory staff.


• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or a related field is a plus.


• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and team members.


• Physical ability to perform required duties, including lifting and assisting clients.


• Reliable transportation to serve clients in Casco, MI area.


• Must pass background checks.
