Description of the role:

This Home Care and or Hospice Biller position at University Home Care in Livonia, MI involves accurately billing and coding for services provided to patients receiving home care and hospice care.

Responsibilities:

• Completing billing and coding accurately and in a timely manner


• Communicating with healthcare providers to ensure proper documentation


• Handling insurance claims and following up on denials


• Maintaining patient records and billing information

Requirements:

• Knowledge of medical billing and coding procedures


• Experience working with insurance claims
