Home Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistants to provide high-quality care to clients in Eastpointe, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their well-being in a supportive and respectful manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Help with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety at all times.


• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.


• Assist with medication reminders and adherence to care plans.


• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Report any changes in client condition or concerns to supervisors promptly

Requirements

• Compassionate and patient with strong interpersonal skills.


• Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately.


• Reliable transportation to and from Eastpointe, MI work locations.


• Must pass background checks and meet any local regulatory requirements.


• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
