Home Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistant to provide personalized care and support to clients in Van Buren Township, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and wellbeing in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.


• Prepare meals and help with feeding as needed.


• Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior 


• Follow care plans 


• Ensure a safe and healthy environment for clients at all times.

Requirements

• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong communication skills.


• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and assisting clients.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation 


• Background check and drug screening may be required.
