Home Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistant to provide exceptional in-home care services to clients in Highland Township, MI. As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily living activities and promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting


• Assist with medication reminders and basic health monitoring


• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed


• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing


• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social activities


• Maintain accurate records of client care and daily activities


• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare providers

Requirements

• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills


• Ability to follow care plans and instructions closely


• Good physical stamina to assist clients 


• Valid driver’s license 


• Ability to pass background checks 


• Own car


• Car insurance and Car registration
