Home Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistant to provide exceptional in-home support to our clients in Marysville, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to promote their independence and enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely within their home.


• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.


• Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to supervisors.


• Follow care plans and ensure client confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy.


• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.


• Ability to pass background checks.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus.
