Home Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Assistants in Pinckney, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. As a Home Care Assistant, you will work closely with clients to assist with daily living activities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting


• Support clients with mobility and transfers safely


• Help with light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients


• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes to the supervisor


• Follow care plans and provide services in accordance with company policies and client needs


• Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately


• Reliable transportation to and from client locations in Pinckney, MI


• Ability to pass background checks 


• Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, standing, and bending


• Strong commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and dignity
