Home Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistants to join our team in Romeo, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients


• Help with light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean living environment


• Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to appropriate personnel


• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals


• Maintain accurate records of services provided and client progress

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus


• Ability to communicate effectively and show empathy


• Reliable, trustworthy, and dedicated to client well-being


• Physically able to perform required tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods


• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is a plus
