Home Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Assistants in South Lyon, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Help with light housekeeping and laundry tasks.


• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to the supervising nurse or case manager.


• Ensure safety and comfort of clients at all times.


• Follow care plans and communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related field is preferred but not required.


• Ability to pass background checks.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• Reliable transportation to and from client homes in South Lyon, MI.


• Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy nature.
