Home Care Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Support clients with mobility and transferring safely within the home.


• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to supervisors.


• Maintain respectful, compassionate, and professional relationships with clients and their families.


• Document care services provided in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or personal care assistance is a plus.


• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and follow care plans accurately.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.


• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus or willingness to obtain.
