Home Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Assistants in Saline, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and improving their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation


• Provide medication reminders and assist with mobility as needed


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment


• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients


• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals


• Maintain accurate records of care and report any changes in client condition

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related field is preferred but not required


• Ability to pass background checks


• Reliable transportation to travel to client locations in Saline, MI


• Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy with strong interpersonal skills


• Flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends
