Home Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Assistants in Plymouth, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.


• Perform light housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to the supervisory staff.


• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.


• Maintain accurate records of care provided and any incidents.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred but not required.


• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families.


• Reliable transportation to reach clients’ homes in Plymouth, MI.


• Ability to pass background checks.
