Home Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team as Home Care Assistants in Bloomfield Hills, MI. This role involves providing essential in-home support to clients, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Ensure a safe and clean environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.


• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior to the care supervisor.


• Help clients with medication reminders as directed.


• Support mobility and assist with transfers or exercises as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related healthcare field is a plus.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately.


• Reliable transportation to and from clients’ homes.


• Ability to pass a background check.
