Home Care Attendant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Attendants in Westland, MI. As a Home Care Attendant, you will provide essential support and care to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. This role requires empathy, reliability, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse or manager.


• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.


• Ensure client privacy and confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or a related field is an advantage but not required.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.


• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong work ethic.


• Must be able to pass background checks and provide references.
