Home Care Attendant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Attendant to provide exceptional in-home care to clients in Howell, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while promoting independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Support clients with mobility and transferring safely within their homes.


• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.


• Monitor clients’ conditions and report any changes to healthcare professionals or family members as needed.


• Follow individualized care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus but not required.


• Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy.


• Reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes in Howell, MI.


• Basic knowledge of health and safety standards.


• Ability to pass background checks.
