Home Care Attendent

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Attendants to provide exceptional in-home care services to our clients in Richmond, MI. As a Home Care Attendant, you will play a vital role in helping individuals maintain their independence and quality of life by assisting with daily living activities and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.


• Support clients with mobility and transferring safely.


• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.


• Provide companionship and engage clients in social and recreational activities.


• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to supervisory staff.


• Ensure adherence to care plans and follow all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus but not required.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods.


• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in the Richmond, MI area.


• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards clients.


• Must pass background checks.
