Home Care RN

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Care RN to provide exceptional nursing care to patients in Monroe, MI and the surrounding areas. This role involves delivering personalized, in-home healthcare services to support patients’ well-being and recovery, ensuring the highest standards of care and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes according to care plans and physician orders.


• Conduct assessments and monitor patients’ health status, reporting any changes or concerns promptly.


• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.


• Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.


• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure continuity.


• Document all nursing interventions accurately and timely in compliance with agency policies.


• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to regulatory and ethical standards.

Requirements

• Current and valid RN license to practice in Michigan.


• Previous home care or community health nursing experience preferred.


• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.


• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.


• Reliable transportation and ability to travel within Monroe and surrounding areas.


• CPR certification required.
