Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Workers in Ypsilanti, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Help with medication reminders and adherence to care plans.


• Perform light housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and clean environment.


• Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to supervisory staff.


• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and client progress.


• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and care team members.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related healthcare field is a plus, but not necessary


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.


• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.


• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude.


• Ability to pass background checks as required.
