Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide support and assistance to clients in their own homes in Westland, MI. This role involves helping clients with daily living activities to improve their quality of life and promote independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming


• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely


• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment


• Provide companionship and emotional support


• Monitor client health and report any changes to the care supervisor


• Follow care plans and adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred but not necessary 


• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately


• Reliable transportation to travel to client locations


• Ability to pass background checks


• Physical ability to assist with mobility and perform household tasks


• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if needed
