Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Workers. In this role, you will provide essential in-home care and support to clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with clients and their families to assist with daily activities and ensure a safe, comfortable living environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.


• Prepare meals and help with feeding as needed.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe home environment.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors or healthcare professionals.


• Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare providers.


• Assist with medication reminders and doctor appointments when necessary.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related field is an asset but not required.


• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.


• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.


• Ability to pass background checks.


• Reliable transportation to and from client locations in Southfield, MI.


• Valid driver’s license and insurance is a plus.
