Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide quality care and support to clients in Van Buren Township, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to help them maintain independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting


• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely


• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients


• Administer medications according to care plans and company policies


• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to supervisors


• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related field is an asset


• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong communication skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus


• Background check may be required
