Home Care Worker

Join University Home Care Inc as a Home Care Worker in Taylor, MI. In this role, you will provide compassionate, personalized care to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with clients and their families to support daily living activities while promoting a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Help with mobility and transferring, including the use of assistive devices.


• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation to support a clean and safe living environment.


• Monitor clients' health and well-being by observing and reporting any changes or concerns to the care team.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their social and mental well-being.


• Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with supervisors and family members.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or a related field is a plus.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to perform physical tasks required in home care.


• Reliable, compassionate, and patient with clients.


• Ability to pass background checks and any required certifications.
