Home Care Worker

Join University Home Care Inc as a a dedicated Home Care Worker providing compassionate, personalized care to clients in Canton, MI. This role involves supporting individuals with daily living activities to promote independence and improve quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting


• Help with meal preparation and feeding


• Provide mobility assistance and help with exercises as directed


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment


• Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors


• Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ well-being


• Follow care plans and communicate effectively with clients and family members

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related field is an asset


• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and assisting clients


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Reliable, compassionate, and punctual


• Valid driver's license or reliable transportation preferred


• Ability to pass background checks
