Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide exceptional care and support to our clients in Livonia, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and promote independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.


• Help with meal preparation and feeding as required.


• Provide companionship and support to promote mental and emotional well-being.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.


• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.


• Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals.


• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.


• Respect client privacy, confidentiality, and dignity at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or a related field is a plus.


• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and assisting clients.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Reliable, compassionate, and patient with a genuine interest in helping others.


• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation preferred.


• Willingness to undergo background checks.
