Home Caregiver

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Caregivers to provide quality in-home care to clients in Waterford, MI. As a Home Caregiver, you will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being while promoting independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and grooming


• Provide mobility assistance and support with transfers


• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed


• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and cleaning


• Administer medications following care plans and instructions


• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior


• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients


• Follow all safety and infection control procedures

Requirements

• Ability to pass background checks 


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Reliable, compassionate, and patient demeanor


• Ability to lift and assist clients safely


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
