Home Caregiver

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Caregiver to provide support and care to clients in Highland Township, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to improve their quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting


• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely


• Provide medication reminders and monitor health conditions as directed


• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment


• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients


• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals


• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition

Requirements

• Previous experience in home healthcare or caregiving is an asset


• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills


• Ability to follow care plans and instructions carefully


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus


• Ability to pass background checks
