Home Health Aid

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aids to provide quality in-home care for clients in Shelby Township, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to improve their quality of life in a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Help with mobility and transfer, including using assistive devices as needed.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Assist with meal preparation and feeding if required.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.


• Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.


• Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals diligently.


• Document care provided and maintain accurate records as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home health care or related field is an advantage.


• Compassionate and patient with excellent interpersonal skills IS A MUST.


• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.


• Reliable transportation to and from client locations in Shelby Township, MI is a plus.


• Certification in CPR and First Aid is an advantage.


• Must be able to pass background checks.
