Job Description - Home Health Aide

We are looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide to aid in daily living and personal care services in our facility-based client homes in accordance with an established care plan.

Responsibilities

Provide health care services in our assisted living facility

Perform domestic and household tasks

Transport and accompany clients to the doctor's office or to the hospital

Administer doctors prescribed medications

Assist with client’s personal care activities

Monitor clients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition

Maintain clients care records and document provided services

Assist clients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises

Instruct and counsel clients and families on diet and exercise

Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support

Skills

Must be over 18 years old

High school degree/diploma

Proven working experience as a home health aide

Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Ability to monitor vital signs and to collect specimens

Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards

Proficiency in English and Electronic Health Record (Rtask)

Nursing and health care administration skills

Caring and compassionate personality

First Aid training

Valid driver’s license or ID

Reliable transportation

Compensation: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
