Southwick MA, 24/7 assistance is needed for an extremely special artistic centurion. She is an amazing person! Ms. K. has been a part of our Visiting Angels client family for a few years. We need to prepare for her return home from the rehab facility. All three shifts are open as well as flexibility to accept double shifts... freeing you up for other responsibilities. Open is: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, & 11pm-7am... 7 days a week. These shifts are not set in stone. We offer flexibility. Full time is preferred to reduce the amount of different caregivers.

Valid MA Drivers License
+1 years of experience in direct care
HHA or CNA preferred but not required (if experienced)
Willing to accept at least 1 e/o weekend shift
Willing to submit to background checks
Provide at least 2 professional references (not friends)
Punctual, Reliable, Compassionate, Patient, Empathetic, and Skilled
Strong ability to read, write, understand, and speak English so as to:

We service Southampton, Westfield, Southwick, Holyoke, West Springfield, Agawam, Chicopee, Springfield, Indian Orchard, Longmeadow, East Longmeadow, Wilbraham, Ludlow, Feeding Hills and Montgomery. The franchise covers the entire Greater Springfield Area and most of the Lower Pioneer Valley region.
Visiting Angels of West Springfield has official accreditation from the Home Care Alliance of Massachusetts. We have also received Home Care Pulse’s award for Best of Home Care - Provider of Choice every year since 2015.

Basic job requirements include:
- Current US driver’s license
- Car
- 1 year of caregiving experience
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong ability to read, write, and speak English, including:
- Read ADLs and personal care instructions
- Communicate verbally with clients and families
- Write shift notes to update the family, office, and other caregivers
- Punctuality and reliability
- Compassionate and caring heart
- Patience and willingness to learn new skills
*Certifications are welcome (CNA, HHA, etc.) but not required. We do offer training and mentorship programs to new caregivers.
