Home Health Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide quality in-home care to our clients in Hazel Park, MI. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with daily living activities and promoting their independence and well-being in the comfort of their homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.


• Help clients with mobility and transferring, including the use of assistive devices.


• Provide medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals.


• Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.


• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.


• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Maintain accurate records of care and communicate effectively with the care team.

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Hazel Park, MI.


• Ability to pass background checks as required.
