Home Health Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide quality care to our clients in Hartland, MI. As a Home Health Aide, you will assist individuals with daily living activities, promote their independence, and improve their overall well-being in a home setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Help with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety.


• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes to healthcare professionals.


• Prepare and serve meals following dietary guidelines.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Document client care and maintain accurate records as required.


• Follow care plans and instructions from nurses and supervisors.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a related role is a plus.


• Compassionate and patient with a strong desire to help others.


• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members.


• Reliable and punctual with a commitment to providing quality care.


• Must pass a background check.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus.
