Home Health Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide quality in-home care to our clients in Fenton, MI. This role focuses on assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while promoting independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely.


• Support clients with medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals.


• Prepare and serve meals according to client dietary needs.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Monitor and report any changes in client condition to supervisors or medical staff.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a related caregiving roll is a plus.


• Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes within Fenton, MI.


• Certification or training in CPR and First Aid is a plus, but not necessary.


• Ability to pass background checks.
