Home Health Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide quality care and support to clients in Royal Oak, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to help them maintain independence and improve their quality of life in the comfort of their own homes. You must be able to work one of the following shifts: 5pm-midnight, midnight- to 9am. These shift are open all 7 days a week. Then have a weekend shift  Saturdays and Sundays 9am-5pm 

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility


• Provide medication reminders and assist with basic health monitoring


• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment


• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding when needed


• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the supervising nurse


• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a related caregiving position is a plus.


• Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and their families


• Reliable transportation to and from client locations in Royal Oak, MI


• Ability to pass background checks 


• Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and perform household tasks
