Home Health Aide

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.


• Help with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and medication reminders.


• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or conditions to nursing staff or supervisors.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their quality of life.


• Follow care plans and instructions set by healthcare professionals to ensure consistent patient care.


• Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment for clients.

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a care team.

• Ability to pass required background checks.


• Previous experience in home health care or related field is an asset.
