Home Health Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide quality in-home care to our clients in Bloomfield Hills, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to help them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Help clients with mobility and transfers safely and comfortably.


• Monitor clients’ health by taking vital signs and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.


• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and safe living environment.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Follow individualized care plans and maintain accurate documentation.


• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a caregiving role is a plus.


• Ability to provide compassionate and respectful care.


• Reliable transportation to and from client locations in Bloomfield Hills, MI.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to pass background checks.
