Home Health Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide high-quality care to clients in the Troy, MI area. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to promote their independence and well-being in the comfort of their own homes. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a patient demeanor, and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Monitor clients’ health by taking vital signs and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.


• Provide companionship and support to improve clients’ emotional and social well-being.


• Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders as instructed.


• Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with the care team.


• Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a related care giving role plus.


• Current certification or training in home health care is a plus.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.


• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Troy, MI.
