Home Health Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in Ypsilanti, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to promote their independence and well-being in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Help with mobility and transfers as needed to ensure client safety.


• Monitor and report changes in clients' health and behavior to healthcare professionals.


• Perform light housekeeping duties including meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirement

• Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a related healthcare role preferred but not required.


• Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate compassion and patience.


• Reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes in Ypsilanti, MI area.


• Basic knowledge of emergency procedures and infection control.
