Home Health Aide (HHA)

Care Plus Home Health Care is looking for a motivated Home Health Aide (HHA) to perform valuable personal care services for our patients. Duties of the Home Health Aide include personal care needs, bathing, dressing, meal preparation, feeding, exercising and light housekeeping. The ideal candidate should have a HHA or CNA license. If you have previous experience as a Home Health Aide, Certified Nurse's Aide or similar background, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful Home Health Aide will provide excellent personal care and dignity to all patients and families. The HHA will build strong relationships with patients and other staff and will report to The Director of Nursing.

Details:

• Full-Time, Part-time and PRN positions available in the Anderson, IN area
• Monday - Friday and Weekends as needed

Responsibilities:

• Provides Personal care including but not limited to bathing, shampooing hair, oral care, shaving, dressing, changing linens.
• Preparing meals and feeding patients.
• Utilizes equipment safely and effectively to meet patient needs.
• Follows Plan of Care accurately.
• Reports changes in patient condition to Director of Nursing.
• Performs light housekeeping as needed.
• Provides emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Completes documentation appropriately and timely in accordance with policies/procedures.

• One (1) year of experience in direct patient care with a willingness to be trained (preferred)
• Must have reliable transportation and carry your own auto insurance.
