🏠 Job Responsibilities

As a valued member of our care team, you will:

• Support patients in maintaining independence through daily care and encouragement

• Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing

• Assist with mobility, turning, and safe repositioning techniques

• Monitor and document patients’ physical and mental conditions, intake/output, and exercise routines

• Educate patients and their families on personal hygiene, use of assistive devices, and care best practices

• Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, meal preparation, errands, and grocery shopping

• Advise on nutrition, home safety, and cleanliness

• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate concerns to the nursing supervisor

• Comply with all agency protocols and relevant federal, state, and local regulations

• Represent Better Home Care with professionalism, empathy, and excellence

📅 Position Details

• Schedule: 56 Hours/7 Days and 12 Hours / 3 Days

• Shifts: Primarily day, Evening and Overnight shifts (Sunday through Saturday);

• Work Setting: In-home care (in-person only)

✅ Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in a home health care setting (required)

• Licensure: Valid Driver’s License (required); Certified Home Health Aide (preferred)

• Transportation: Reliable personal transportation is essential

💰 Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour

• Quick Start Bonus: Offered to candidates who complete all documentation and training within two weeks of HR's initial contact

• Training: Paid (after required hours are completed)
