Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.

• Assist patients with mobility, exercise routines, and safe use of assistive devices.

• Help patients maintain independence and dignity by offering guidance and emotional support.

• Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, laundry, and errands.

• Monitor and document physical and mental health, intake/output, and overall well-being.

• Educate patients and families on care techniques, home safety, and hygiene practices.

• Train family members on proper lifting, repositioning, and mobility support.

• Maintain accurate records and communicate any changes or concerns to the nursing supervisor.

• Follow all agency protocols, healthcare regulations, and best practices.

• Uphold the reputation of Better Home Care through dependable, high-quality service.

• Schedule: Varies by case

• Shifts: All Shifts

• Work Setting: In-person, home-based care

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a home health or similar care setting (required)

• License/Certification: Valid Driver’s License (required); Certified Home Health Aide (preferred)

• Transportation: Reliable and consistent transportation is required

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: Up to $18.00/hour
