Job Description - Home Health Aide Scheduler

As a Home Health Aide Scheduler, you will assist HHA Managers and support the clinical staff to improve communication and ensure quality patient care.  You will act as the key link between clinicians and clinical managers.  The schedule for this position is 40 hours per week, 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday.


Compensation: 23.00/hr. - 27.00/hr. based on experience


What will you be doing:



  • Assures scheduling is done on a timely basis (daytime, evening, weekends and holidays).

  • Ensures appropriate assignment of new admissions and resumptions of care in consultation with managers.

  • Adjusts schedule to meet expected productivity.

  • Projects daily staffing needs.

  • Coordinates staff’s daily workload, assuring continuity of care.

  • Serves as a scheduling resource to team members, Intake Department, Phlebotomy Department and patients.

  • Provides clerical support to clinical managers and clinical staff (i.e., meeting minutes, letters, flyers, faxing, etc.).

  • Assures service satisfaction through appropriate communication with staff, patients and Intake Department.


 


What we're looking for in you:


 



  • High school diploma or Bachelor's degree or prior administrative or administrative experience 

  • Minimum of two years of office (clerical) related experienced required, in a health care setting strongly preferred.

  • Prior experience as multi-disciplinary scheduler preferred
