Home Health Assistant Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking dedicated and compassionate Home Health Assistant Aides to join our team in Washington Township, MI. In this role, you will provide essential in-home care to patients, supporting their daily living activities and helping them maintain independence and comfort in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.


• Help with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.


• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Document patient care and report any changes in health condition to nursing staff.


• Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home health care or a related field is a plus.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.


• Reliable, compassionate, and patient-centered approach.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.


• Ability to pass background checks and any required screenings.
