Job Description - Home Health Occupational Therapist


As a 501(c )3 non-profit company, NTSOC does not compromise care for the sake of profit. Our model is to care for clients first, not funded by a corporate owner. NTSOC serves southern Colorado families of children/young adults with disabilities, homebound seniors, and veterans by providing compassionate quality home care, occupational, physical and speech therapies, CNA training, and outpatient therapy. We pursue the best possible outcome as defined by the client, family members, and care team. 
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From $93,000.00 per year
Location: Colorado Springs/Pueblo

Provides direct patient care, evaluates functional needs and outcomes, consults with other professionals as necessary, reassesses patient status and adjusts care plan as needed to ensure optimal outcome. Designs and implements a plan of care based on evaluation of patient status.
  • Conducts provision of therapy within accepted standards of care and in accordance with state law.
  • Provides occupational therapy in a home care setting, or outpatient clinic as assigned.
  • Communicates effectively with clients, relatives, professional and support staff to achieve desired patient outcome.
  • Adheres to established organizational policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
  • Maintains current and accurate records of properly signed prescriptions, patient evaluations, treatments, goals and plan of care. Ensures conformity to regulations and requirements of third-party payers.
  • Performs patient care visits in accordance with Agency productivity requirements.
Minimum Education: Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association. Master’s degree in related field preferred.
Licenses/Registrations:
  • Current license or eligible for license to practice occupational therapy by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Affairs (DORA).
